Ahhhhhhhh!! I'm home! and Pics!!

I know, I know. I'm about a month late with this, but give me a break. As most of you know already, I got home the evening of March 11th. I wasn't home 24 hours before I had to pull myself together and go to work. Needless to say, I was a bit of a mess. Luckily, because school districts aren't the quickest processors of paperwork, I was able to take the next three days to try to recover from the jet lag and try to move back into my apartment. It was incredibly difficult to try to adjust back to life here in LA while attempting to create some sort of normal sleeping and eating pattern. My first week home was a little hazy, almost felt like I was hungover for seven days straight, but was able to maintain my sanity and make it through my first week of work. My job is fantastic and I'm more than thrilled that I have the opportunity to work there. They were very kind with letting me ease in at my own pace, and within a few days I was up and running. The coming months are going to be great.

I've only just started really unpacking my backpack from the trip. This is where everything that was essential to the trip was stored. It will be nostalgic and probably a little sad. I miss everything like crazy. I was lucky enough to meet up with some of the people I met in Bali here in LA. Ed and Catherine, the couple I met from Sacramento, were here visiting family so I got a chance to spend some time with them this past weekend. As soon as I got there Catherine said, "You remind me of Bali," and we both had a few minutes of missing it so much. Of course we talked mostly of the trip and how we could get back there as soon as possible. Hopefully I'll be traveling with them some time in the future.

Ok, so about the pictures. After uploading them all on to my computer, I realized that I had about 850 of them. I did my best to weed out the ones I wanted people to see, and ended up with 450. I know it's still a lot, but I just couldn't cut them down any more.
